What we do
My years as a trial lawyer has taught me there is no substitute for experience and hard work in the fight for the rights of the client. I draw upon my experience garnered in the corporate world in assessing and negotiating matters, coupled with my legal expertise to provide my clients with a comprehensive perspective on their matter. I also believe earning the respect and trust of judges and fellow lawyers is important in obtaining successful results for my clients. For years, I applied those principles on behalf of various not-for-profit organizations, corporations, and individual in their pursuit of justice.
Key accomplishments

Singh vs. Insurance Corporation of British Columbia
I successfully acted for an Ontario based transport truck owner/operator against the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia in a conflict of laws dispute. The issue before the court was whether B.C. or Ontario law would apply. The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia was unsuccessful in their summary attempt to defeat the client’s claim.
B&M Handelman Investments Ltd. vs. Mass Properties Inc.
I acted for a business person who was successfully purchased from a court approved receiver, through auction a well known property in Brampton, Ontario for a purchase price of 3.735 million. Prior to the completion of the sale numerous parties sought to stop the sale. Some sought to redeem the mortgage and another offered 4.22 million to purchase the same property by alleging the sale procedure itself was improvident. Working along with counsel for the receiver we were successful in defeating the subsequent claims and completing the transaction for the benefit of our client.
Warrior of the Cross Asian church vs. Masih
We were successful in removing a group of alleged directors/members of a church. This group had been controlling the church for over 20 years without holding proper elections as required by the Corporations Act and the bylaws of the church. We successfully sought the winding down of the church. The matter has been a precedent setting case.
It is not enough that we do our best; sometimes we need to do
what’s required.
