Hardip is a founding member of Merwar Lawyers and head of the Business Law group. He acts for entrepreneurs, medium sized enterprises, lenders and commercial landlords on medium to large commercial transactions. Hardip also advises his private clients on business structures, corporate governance, shareholders’ agreements, reorganizations and business succession planning.

He has represented clients based in Canada and internationally, as well as in cross-border transactions, across many different industry sectors including transportation and logistics, commercial & industrial real estate, manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, cannabis, finance, IT, pharmaceutical, healthcare and universities.

Hardip holds a BA (Hons) from University of Toronto; an LLB from University of Western Ontario; and a J.D. Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State College of Law. While at Michigan State he was awarded the Jurisprudence Achievement Awards in Constitutional and Criminal Law and the Harold Norris Writing Award.
